With the 2009 season now underway, the St. Dominic boy soccer team realizes that in every game they play, their opponents look at it as an opportunity to take down the defending Missouri Class 2 State Champions.

With all state selections Michael Yuede, Logan Ream and Brett Stiffler returning as Kiko Alonso Eagles Jersey well as a total of 14 players returning from last season state championship team, the Crusaders could once again see themselves in the Missouri Class 2 title game this fall.

St. Dominic Head Coach Greg Koeller is well aware of how fortunate the Crusaders are to return this much firepower for the 2009 campaign.

a good position to be in as a coach, Koeller said. had a pretty deep bench last year and they carried us through the playoffs and again this year is no different.

in, the expectations were very high and I pleased to see that the players are exceeding the expectations that I have of them, Koeller said. a tight knit group with great camaraderie and they looking pretty sharp. The senior forward/midfielder suffered a heartbreaking dislocated elbow in the Crusaders state semifinal game against Pembroke Hill, but still managed to rack up a total of nine goals and three assists

(Yuede) is one of the top players in the metro area along with Logan (Ream), Koeller said. has established himself as a leader both on and off the field. He by far the fittest player on our team and he one of the most skillful players on our team who plays the game intelligently and that why he being highly sought after by Division I schools.

biggest difference in Logan is that he matured just like Mike Yuede has, Koeller said. both have that senior maturity and have had tremendous training in Evan Mathis Jersey club, which has prepared them and tested them. So coming in they done tremendous work before the season even started.

scored the game winning goal for Scott Gallagher in the US Club U 16 National Championship game and gained some valuable experience there, Koeller said. played a couple different roles for us and he another one of those players who very flexible and likes to attack. He one of the top up and coming players in the area at midfield. The Titans fooled a lot of their opponents with a 12 11 1 record going into the playoffs, but that was primarily due to a schedule that saw Trinity play nearly every one of the top programs in the area.

year team got stronger at the end of the season for the state playoff run, Trinity head coach Vince Drake said. year team will hopefully take up where last year team left off. I hope that this year team is even stronger because of the confidence that they got from last year.

Trinity returns Player of the Year Joe Pieper Authentic Jordan Matthews Jersey as well as honorable mention all state selection Corey Kinnison.

Pieper currently holds the Trinity school record for goals scored with a total of 63. Last season the senior midfielder led the Titans with 29 goals and 16 assists for 74 points. Kinnison, on the other hand, cornerstoned a Titan defense that gave up just 1.53 goals a game last season. The senior defender recorded a total of three assists last season.

Drake also expects to see seniors Brandon Pegg (midfield), Mike Longinette Evan Mathis Eagles Jersey (midfield),Nick Hutson (midfield), Bobby Terranova (midfield) and Dan Cimicata (goalkeeper) as well as junior Matt Derrington (goalkeeper) propel the Titans back into the playoffs this season.

John BurroughsThe defending Class 1 state champions return a core from last season squad as senior defender Max Witt and junior goalkeeper Winston Boldt look to solidify the Bomber defense. Seniors Drew Miller and Jake Siwak should provide enough firepower to get the Bombers back into the state playoffs this season.

CBCLast season the Cadets were hands down one of the best teams in the state and return a solid group of players including all state defender Ryan Tinsley and all state midfielderSean Kuster. Louis University High in the Class 3, District 6 championship game.

Senior midfielder Sito Sasieta took all state honors last season and should once again control Authentic Kiko Alonso Jersey games for as well as senior defender Kevin Wilson. Senior forward Jimmy Meyerkord returns as the top scoring threat for the Red Devils after scoring 11 goals and four assists during the 2008 campaign.

DeSmetDespite losing four of their first seven games, the Spartans racked up eight straight Jordan Matthews Jersey wins en route to an appearance in the Class 3 semifinal where DeSmet dropped a 2 1 decision in overtime to Glendale. DeSmet graduated a total of 13 players from last year roster, which could make things interesting for Jordan Matthews Eagles Jersey the 2009 season.

Senior goalkeeper Ben Kremer returns to the Spartan lineup after racking up a 14 7 1 record with a 0.89 goals against average.

Bishop DuBourgThe Cavaliers were 10 15 last season but senior forward Patrick McCaffrey returns as DuBourg leading scoring threat Kiko Alonso Jersey from the 2008 campaign where he hammered in 15 goals and 13 assists to garner all state honors.
